The Columbia Blue pearlescent inks are pretty close to Indian Blue, so I wish De Atramentis would have picked one or the other instead of doing both. Arabian Nights is a bit more purple than Indian Blue.. Longer writing: I used a FPR Darjeeling Pink with a steel ultra flex nib for the Copper version, a broad Conklin Durograph Forest Green.

1/11/13 Steel Blue is a fairly unique ink. It looks like some other inks, but none of them are really the same. It's a little like Waterman's Mysterious Blue, but it isn't nearly as green-tinged. It looks like it has some of the same "bluejeans" quality that Noodler's Upper Ganges Blue has, but it's much darker than that ink.
